The heart of a man plans his way but the Lord establishes His steps (Proverbs 16:9).
Beloved, there has been a change. The community center has determined to close public use until the end of April, effective immediately. That means tomorrow’s men’s brunch has been canceled and Sunday services can no longer be held there for the next seven weeks.
What does that mean for us? We have the blessed opportunity to tell our neighbors, friends, loved ones, unbelieving co-workers, that we can still enjoy each other using social media. At least for this Sunday would like to offer live-stream services and will work on alternate plans for meeting elsewhere, as long as the state permits.
As you know there are only so many reruns of the L.A. Lakers one can watch. God has graciously relieved us of the idol of sports for a season. Let us invite our friends to live-stream with us or if we are not up and running by Sunday, Grace in Sun Valley will be live-streaming.
Grateful to the Lord for technology and we are doing our best to make use of it.
We hold our plans loosely, trusting in the Lord and submitting to His will. We can rejoice being confident that He is with us wherever we are and will never leave us nor forsake us.
